Cardinal’s emphasis on customer service and regular in-person customer contact puts us in a unique position with respect to familiarity with each of our customer’s business climates and local markets. During the Great Recession we came up with “Rev Up for Recovery,” an innovative cross-promotional advertising campaign that paired our customers with other local and regional businesses in their markets. The partner advertiser, such as a local restaurant or retail outlet, would pay for the right to place an ad or coupon on a service invoice or other form used by our customer. Not only did the advertiser gain exposure to new customers but our customers, as a result of the fees paid, were able to get their forms at a lower cost and in some cases, no cost.
